Procedures can seem scary. Certain procedures have specific prepping instructions that restricts your daily routines and diets. Some procedures have explicit postoperative instructions that have to be carefully followed in order to reduce infection or to make sure your body can heal properly. Thinking about these things can make your head hurt but before and after care isn’t always this intensive.
Smaller procedures don’t always require patients to do much and aren’t as restricting. With FUE most patients can continue their regular daily routines up until their procedure date. There’s no fasting involved or dietary restrictions and no prior medication is needed. Most patients are able to go back to work as soon as the next day with a few restrictions such as not strenuous physical activity. After about seven to 10 days, patients are able to fully return to everyday normal activities including things like exercise.
FUE hair transplants are considered minimally invasive which means that it is a smaller case that doesn’t involve the use of many instruments or other objects into the body. FUE doesn’t use a scalpel like FUT would. For the patients this means no cutting of the scalp, line scarring or stitches. This also dramatically reduces the risk of infection and postoperative care is at a minimum. Patient’s don’t have to worry about open wounds or removing stitches.
Anything is possible with the right knowledge, help and people. Don’t be afraid of exploring your options and doing some research on the best hair transplant method for your particular case. Talk to your doctor about any questions you may have. Before you know it, you’ll be on your way to a full head of hair
